I had the pleasure last month of doing an interview with James Wedmore (Youtube Video Guru!) and Phoebe Mroczek on their new itunes podcast. We had a great time talking (and laughing) about how to ‘Mind” your business with feng shui and get the most out of your career. If you have a business, or want to start a business, you need to take a look at the biggest challenges you are facing, and get very specific with tracking. For example, it could be revenue generation, getting more clients, or even getting that “perfect” client. Really hone in on what you desire to have that dream job or career!
A few of my top tips for your office space are: Make sure the front door is inviting, easy to see and ensure it opens freely (nothing cluttering in front or behind it). A fresh and clean welcome mat will provide “inviting energy.” Display your credentials (certificates, diplomas, etc.), also getting a permanent work space (not just a laptop at Starbucks!) as well as putting a plant in the prosperity area of your desk or office to add that “living object” cure.
My #1 rule is that whatever is closest to you will have the most impact on you. Your office is the 2nd space in your life where you spend the most time (other than your bedroom which you should definitely feng shui!) so it is a must to pay close attention to. There are so many ways to mindfully, with intention, take your business to the place you have always dreamt of.
